ISSN Burkina Faso

Member since 2000

The Burkina Faso ISSN National Centre joined the ISSN network in 2000.

The ISSN National Centre is currently located in the National Library of Burkina Faso, which is part of the General Directorate of Culture and the Arts, attached to the Ministry of Communication, Culture, the Arts and Tourism of Burkina Faso.

The ISSN National Centre raises awareness to promote the use of ISSNs.

The first director was Abel NADIE and the current director is W. Evariste KABORE.

The very first ISSN "0257-1684" was attributed to ‘Les cahiers du laboratoire universitaire de la tradition orale’ by the University of Ouagadougou, in March 2000.

The last ISSN to this date "2960-7019" was attributed to ‘Le Professionnel de Demain’ by the National Order of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants of Burkina Faso, on 9 January 2025.
