They're talking about it
The Bulletin des Bibliothèques de France, a journal published by Enssib (the French National School of Information Science and Library Science), will publish a series of articles throughout September to mark the 50th anniversary of CIEPS (ISSN International Centre).
The first article, published on 3 September, discusses the Centre's achievements over the last ten years.
This will be followed on 10 September by an article by Carol R. (Publications Office of the European Union) on identifiers and the role they have played in her career.
On 17 September, Sanjay Burde (CSIR India) will present the history of the Indian ISSN centre and the challenges it faces in the face of the exponential growth of scientific journals in the subcontinent.
Finally, on 24 September, our colleagues from Latindex. Sistema de Información, Ana María Cetto and José Octavio Alonso Gamboa (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Carlos Authier (CONICET), will analyse the use of identifiers by open access journals listed in the DOAJ and Latindex databases.
